Upgrade your Remington 700 or Model 7 with a tactical bolt knob for easier bolt manipulation and function.
With this installation your old knob is completely removed and a hardened stud with 5/16-24 threads is installed in its place for use with any 5/16-24 threaded knob on the market.
I have settled on this form of knob installation after finding voids in almost every handle I've cut apart, I've also used this method to repair handles that have broken because the factory knob which was threaded to accept the new knob broke off because of these casting voids.
You have the choice of either of the two bolt knobs pictured, a shorter Hunter version and the longer Tactical version. You can also purchase this service without a bolt knob included if you wish to supply your own.
Knobs are made from 6061 Aluminum and Black Cerakoted.
